Deflame - Natural Help for Inflammation

Research has demonstrated that most people suffer with inflammation to varying degrees, which can cause simple aches and pains, and lead to the development of serious life-threatening diseases

"New study: Whiplash Injuries Weaken the Cervical Spine

It's difficult to describe the violence of a rear end collision, even one considered to be minor. Using live occupants in rear end crash tests, researchers have found head accelerations can easily reach 9 Gs of force, or nine times the force of gravity. What this means is that the human head-which weighs about 10 pounds, on average-suddenly weighs 90 pounds.

In its most simple form, whiplash is this: the occupant's torso is accelerated in one direction, while the head is going in the opposite direction. In between the head and the torso is the neck, and it's not surprising that most of the injury takes place in the ligaments that hold the vertebrae together.

Dr. Todd Asks some important questions of interest to Fort Myers residents - Chiropractor Fort Myers Dr. Todd Asks...

Is a muscle spasm a cause or an effect?
With the knee-jerk use of muscle relaxers, you'd think it was a cause. But it's an effect. Chiropractors know that bones don't move unless muscles move them. And muscles don't contract unless commanded by the nervous system. That's why your nervous system is the focus of our Fort Myers chiropractic practice.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Fort Myers folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
